History of Mockups Support

  • 2 weeks ago (), balsamiqAdminBrendan commented Tree Pane in UI Library:
I'm sorry that it's taking so long to get around to these, Darryl. We are in the middle of a huge rewrite for all of our apps, and it's been a much larger project than we initially suspected. We want to revisit the Tree Pane control and add some of these features, but we probably won't do that until after the rewrite.

All that to say, we are definitely paying attention to the requests posted on the controls here, and we will begin to address some of them once the rewrite is complete. I am sorry if it came off as neglect. We will be working with the Tree Pane as soon as we can!

There are feature requests from 4-6 years ago here, which appear to warrant consideration, yet seem not to have been included, are they parked? Ignore? Deferred?
  • 1 month ago (), BalsamiqAdminVirgin commented Tabs Bar in UI Library:
Sure thing, Hanna! All you need to do is to edit the Tabs bar control and add a comma and the name of the new tab (e.g. "One, Two, Three, Four, Five").

    Hope this helps! :)

Hi, is it possible to add an additional tab to the tab bar?

    Thank you!

    Hey Amaya!

If you want to add a color to the bar, use a semi-transparent rectangle control, and change the color to whatever you wish. That way, when you overlay that on top of the tab bar, it will appear to have that color.

Let me know if that works for you. :)

Hi Stefano! Since the "-" notation has a different purpose in the Tree Pane control, here is the easiest way to disable an item there: https://support.balsamiq.com/tutorials/workarounds/#add-a-disable-state-to-any-control

    Hope this helps! :)

  • 4 months ago (), balsamiqAdminBrendan commented Alert Box in UI Library:
    Hey Nathan,

While there isn't a way to justify the Alert Box text in myBalsamiq, you can edit the Alert box to create a space where the text should be, and then overlay a text control. Here is how the alert box would need to look in order to set up for that:

If you're using Mockups 3 for Desktop, you can change the justification of the Alert Box text in the property inspector. :)
